The Defenders medical step cans comply with OBRA
Regulations and OSHA standards on bloodborne pathogens for the safe containment of
infectious waste.
- All models are UL Listed / Factory Mutual Systems
Approved fire safe / self-extinguishing and California
State Fire Marshal Listed (except for ST3.5 PL).
- All square models are standard with poly bag Retainer
Bands which can be used in conjunction with galvanized
steel and Germ-Fighter rigid plastic liners.
- Square models feature a piano hinged lid restraint
mechanism to protect walls and equipment. Also features
steel legs with nylon buttons to protect floors.
- Round models come complete with a vinyl base ring to
protect floors and reduce noise.
- Germ-Fighter rigid plastic liners are made with an
antimicrobial compound which resists the growth of mold,
mildew, odor causing bacteria and many germs harmful to
humans such as salmonella, staph, and E.coli.
